"POST NO BILLS" a band and gig poster art show

Viewed as an eyesore by a large portion of the general public, rock band posters have long been celebrated and collected for their historical and aesthetic qualities. "POST NO BILLS" is a showing of music posters at the Tart Gallery located in the back of Vancouver's original indie music store Zulu Records,1869 W. 4th Ave. Artists and collectors exhibit works from the last 30 years.Well known poster artists include Bob Masse and Justin Hampton who have produced works for such big name bands as the Grateful Dead,the Doors,Marilyn Manson and Nick Cave.They'll show along side local indie musicians and labels D.I.Y. promo for their own bands.
